Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What kinds of things do you take pictures of?
A: I will tell the story of the day through photographs. I will typically photograph the following: people interacting; an overview of the funeral or memorial service including any speakers; details such as programs, memory table items, flowers, food, and posed groupings of people if desired.
Q: Isn’t funeral photography a little strange?
A: No. It is not strange, but it is bit unusual. I hope to change that because funeral photography is something I really believe in.
Q: How do you conduct yourself on the day of the funeral?
A: My goal is to be unnoticeable. I want to blend into the background so that family members and guests are not distracted by my presence. I will dress in a conservative manner, and will act professionally and courteously at all times.
